Bells bugged.
Robin Lee Powell - Mon 30/04/2012 18:50:15 CEST +0200
I'm in Windows 7 64-bit. The behaviour I want is for bells to cause the window icon on the taskbar to blink (or be bright solid, I don't care, but visually distinct from windows that have not belled), as I had in PuTTY, without acting crazy in the process. Instead, I appear to have the following options:
1. If "Put window on foreground on bell" is checked, I get the icon change I want, but the window, which was maximized, is set back to my default settings, which are designed to work on several computers (I share configs with directory mode and dropbox) and hence are quite small. Sudden reduction in window size screws up my apps and means I have to maximize again and wait for it to refresh. 2. If "Put window on foreground on bell" is off, the window icons don't change, no matter what I set the style of bell to. Help? -Robin Answer |
