Changing KiTTY Window Title
D - Sun 24/06/2012 15:21:09 CEST +0200
I would like to title my KiTTY window's, so that when I log into a system, I can change the title to the hostname so it's easier to identify which KiTTY session is logged into which machine.
I've tried the following 3 methods, all of which don't work. echo -e "\033]0;This Is My Window Title And My Icon Title\007" echo -e "\033]1;This Is Just My Icon Title\007" echo -e "\033]2;This Is Just My Window Title\007" Thanks D - Sun 24/06/2012 15:35:46 CEST +0200
I changed the title using the Behaviour option in KiTTY, however I am now wondering why the method above does not work.

Aaarrgh ! There is a bug here, where the 'changed window title [Behaviour setting]' is reset to the default of root@localhost:~

It is not a KiTTY issue.
I works fine with me, maybe a server setting on your side ? Floris - Fri 08/02/2013 13:50:38 CET +0100
