max window problem

Hi, I tried to maximize the window by double-clicking the window title. However, it didn't maximize but instead, it lost response and couldn't be turned off. and also it affected other windows' behavior. I have to kill the process to get rid of it.

But I love the new features that putty lacks. Thanks.

I'm sorry, but I did not reproduce you case.
Can you tell me your KiTTY version and your Windows version, and can you send me your kitty.ini file ?

With the help from Cyd, problem is solved by disabling transparency function in kitty.ini

[KiTTY]
transparency=no

I had a different problem but the cure was the same, set transparency=no.
In my case the kitty window was completely invisible. Note that I did verify that, according to Windows, the window property was VISIBLE and that the windows was positioned in the middle of the screen. However it was invisible. Might have something to do with display drivers. I have an ATI card.
