bug: cant save changed settings

hi,
kitty.ini: savemode=file

i log on a machine and use the Change Settings... option from menu, for example change the charset in Window -> Translation, and go to Session category and try to save the changes in to running session, or try to save a new session not work.
The next restart kitty forgot these settings.

It will be fix in the next major version.
The portable version is being to be completly rewrited.
