Kitty strangeness on a 2nd monitor
Patrick Heverly - Tue 04/11/2008 16:20:12 CET +0100
Hi Friends,
I've been trying Kitty for a bit and I'm impressed with some of its features compared to Putty. I found a small issue so I thought I'd report it. I'll describe it as best I can. I've found that when using an image background ... putting the Kitty session on the non-main monitor will have the effect of all screen output being written on top of the previous output. The result is an unreadable jumble. The same jumbled window when moved to the main monitor looks normal. Cheers, Cyd - Tue 11/11/2008 10:33:41 CET +0100
Hi Patrick
Yes we also notice the problem with image background and second monitor. But we don't have any solution from now. Cyd Cyd - Mon 17/11/2008 16:24:59 CET +0100
The problem is fixed in 0.60.66.9

What do I need to do to get the background image to show up? Do I simply drop a jpg into the same directory as kitty.exe or do I need to configure kitty.ini?
Thanks! Cyd - Thu 03/06/2010 13:35:54 CEST +0200
You just have to configure your image into the Window/Background panel in the configuration box.
