key mapping

jpp - Thu 06/11/2008 18:09:16 CET +0100

Hello Cyd,

Would be nice also to be able to map command to any key. Right now, it is only avalable for ctrl+shift+a_z , my end users would like to be able to map for example F6, F7 etc ..
Thank you for your great product, I am deploying it in my company.

regards,

Hello,

This would be nice; some of the keys bound in PuTTY/KiTTY I would rather use for something specific in my terminal (either the shell itself, or GNU screen).

Also, is there anything that you know of that would prevent ctrl+right-arrow and ctrl+left-arrow from being passed through to the terminal? I'm trying to bind those keys to some specific functions in tcsh and having trouble figuring out what is failing. I've found examples of other people doing the exact same thing in tcsh but they don't work for me.

I have "transparency=no" in the [KiTTY] section of my kitty.ini.
