Folders when using portability mode
James - Sun 16/11/2008 02:03:20 CET +0100
Just installed Kitty as a replacement for Tutty and think it is excellent. Well done!
The portability and auto-login / script features were my main reasons for switching. The folders in portability mode do not work as I expected however. I was expecting something more like Tutty. In particular, with the Saved Sessions on the right-click menu all saved sessions are in the same list. Is this expected? Cyd - Sun 16/11/2008 10:08:06 CET +0100
The folder mode in KiTTY is completly deferent from the one in TuTTY.
Did you look at the Sessions filter manual ? Cyd James - Mon 17/11/2008 22:06:35 CET +0100
Thanks Cyd.
This is a decent way to manage server connections in the Open menu. In the drop down fromt the window title bar however, the Saved Sessions is a single list. With the number of servers I need to configure (well over 100) this is a pretty hard way to manage them. Friendly feedback: splitting out the servers by folders here would be an improvement IMO. Did you use kitty launcher ?
You can organize your sessions in folders and sub-folders. Cyd Answer |
