kitty stops showing commands

I love the new functions of kitty (when compared to putty), but I have an error: kitty stops showing text sometimes (either sent or received), but it works again if I alt-tab to another window and back.

I've never noticed for such a problem. Are you sure it is not a network problem ?
Do you use KiTTY for telnet or ssh connection ?
Do you use the logon script feature ?
Do you use a background image ?

It can be related to network problems (I admit the connection is't very stable), but since it shows the text I write immediatly after alt-tab, it's also a bug somewhere. This happens in both telnet and ssh connections, I use automatic logon (user and pass), but this happens anytime in the connection, even after logon. I thought it may be related to a background imagem (especially since I have it display the desktop image and have another program always changing it), but I tried deactivating that (using a black background) and it still happens.

It is a compatibility problem with the transparency.
To fix it just deactivate the transparency by adding these two lines in your kitty.ini file:
[KiTTY]
transparency=no
