Minimizing makes window title go wrong

Chewbacca - Tue 02/11/2010 09:10:23 CET +0100

Hi!

When I have a window title, set by the 3]0;Whatever{CONTENT}7 escape sequence, it works fine.
If I minimize the window, that changes to the default window title, and I have to send another escape sequence to change it back!

This is really annoying as I use window title to keep track of what file I'm editing where, and if I need something on my desktop, Win+M to minimize all, do whatever, and then go back, all the windows are named the same.

Did I miss some DoNotMangleWindowTitle=1 option in the ini file?
If it's not intentional, please look into it?

Oh ffs, my escape sequence got mangled.
I'll just have to trust you know what a Window Title escape sequence looks like __

In case of confusion I'm trying again, hopefully I'll manage to escape what needs escaping...

\033]0;Window title\007

**fingers crossed**

Errr, nothing?

No response at all?
Please, I really like KiTTY, but I need my window titles to separate one window from the other!

Did you try to uncheck "Separate window and icon titles" in Window/Behavior configuration panel ?

Add these two lines to your %APPDATA%/KiTTY/kitty.ini file:
[KiTTY]
wintitle=no
to use original PuTTY window title function.

@Leo, yeah, I played with all of that.

@Cyd, I used the kitty.ini in the same dir as kitty.exe (using it portably) and that worked GREAT.
Thank you!
