MGokmen - Wed 24/11/2010 13:42:20 CET +0100

Hi there,

I am just curious if there is a way to use Millard Software's PuttyCS (http://www.millardsoftware.com/puttycs)

PuttyCS is very usefull when working on several connections with the same commands.

Thanks for your help in advance.

Regards,

Murat

Add these lines to your %APPDATA%/KiTTY/kitty.ini configuration file:
[KiTTY]
KiClassName=PuTTY

Hi Cyd,

There was no %APPDATA% defined in my userprofile on Windows 7.

I have defined it as APPPDATA=%USERPROFILE%\AppData in my environment variables.

I have started KiTTY and PuttyCS from scratch. Seemingly, PuttyCS could not have control on KiTTY window.

Am I missing something in here.

You can also start KiTTY with -classname parameter:
kitty.exe -classname PuTTY

You must have a kitty.ini file.
If it is not into %APPDATA%/KiTTY directory, you can find it into the same directory where kitty.exe is.
To go further, can you send us a memory dump to check the complete path for kitty.ini ?

Hi there,

Now I am able to run KiTTY with PuttyCS ad defined by Cyd.

Created a shotcut for KiTTY and given -classname PuTTY at Target line.
