rz and sz.exe relative paths

Perhaps I'm overlooking something, but I'm having a little trouble setting the path of the rz and sz executables in a somewhat relative manner. My USB drive might be on a different letter from time to time, or I might move the KiTTY folder around. I'd like to not have to edit the locations in settings each time. It seems that the program uses the location of the file I'm uploading (or uploaded last) as the starting point for where to look for rz and sz. So for example, if sz.exe is in the same folder as kitty_portable.exe, if I enter ./sz or /sz or sz it looks in Q:\stuff\i\am\sending\ instead of f:\where\i\put\kitty\.

Put sz.exe and rz.exe in the same directory where kitty.exe is.
Then just set sz.exe and rz.exe (without any path), into the configuration box.

I end up with the same problem: the program looks for it in the same folder as what I want to send, rather than in the folder kitty_portable.exe is in. I'm on win7, if that helps.
