Printer and telnet auto login
Sergio - Tue 28/02/2012 12:48:10 CET +0100
Hi cya,
Printer 1 - Terminal * Printer If i select printers PC it works, if i select remote printer (like \host\printername) then save, next time has \host\printername and give error when print anything. 2 - Connection * data (only telnet, work with ssh) Telnet auto-login password don't work (don't send to server, stay ask for password), i must use command with password\n\n or use login script file, works too. The problem is that anyone can see password. I suggest using GENPASS to generate encrypted password and put in the login script. I use last version (but before was same) And Thank you for your work on Kitty Sergio - Tue 28/02/2012 12:50:15 CET +0100

Normal.
Telnet is only a terminal protocol. There is no authentication process. You can use telnet to access rlogin servers, but also http servers, pop3 servers ... The best way in fact is to use login script file (there is an hidden way to encrypt it). The auto-password should be use with ssh (the authentication is fully part of the protocol).
