I find that mostly Kitty seems to take a few seconds to start and sometimes longer .
why does it take along time to show the main screen/window? BDX - Tue 11/09/2012 17:55:38 CEST +0200
Try uncompressed version.

I have the same problem, mostly on Windows XP. On Win7, Kitty starts immediately.

KiTTY is fast for me on both XP and Win7. However, on either, if I run it from a network drive, and have a lot of folders defined, it is extremely slow, at least on version 0.60.67.6p.

...idea... to (partially) solve this problem, is there a way to leave the "Kitty Configuration" window open after having started a session? This way we could be able to start another session immediately, without having to wait a long time fo Kitty to start up again ;-)

Find a new start button into configuration box: http://www.9bis.net/kitty/data/beta/kitty.exe
