define shortcut to launch local script on remote session?
Gauthier - Mon 03/09/2012 07:29:26 CEST +0200
Hello,
i use the "local script on remote session" feature a lot, since i have to connect to many servers through a proxy gateway. So when i log in to a machine i run CTRL+F2 and load a script that initializes my bashrc and stuff. I cannot use the "login script file" function, since i'm connecting through a proxy gateway, and i cannot modify the local bashrc file of all the servers, since we use shared accounts. Is there a way i could bind a shortcut to the load of a specific script ? Every time i have to do CTRL+F2 and then choose my file, which is a bit slow. thanks ! What I've done:
I'v uploaded my script on all the servers I use to go. Then I set an autocommand to launch it automatically at session startup. Gauthier - Mon 03/09/2012 10:42:01 CEST +0200
Hi,
the thing is i cannot use autocommand because i go through a proxy with menus. Basically i log into one gateway, which shows all the servers i can access in the form of a menu. After i select the server i want, the same session is used and i get connected. I don't think kitty can detect the server i am currently on, can it ? For example if i connect on serverA, and ssh to serverB, will kitty detect i am logging on serverB and launch autocommand ? Gauthier - Wed 05/09/2012 04:24:23 CEST +0200
Found a solution by using AutoHotKey :)

I have the same problem. Could you give us some more informations about "AutoHotKey" please.
Thanks a lot Erlendur - Mon 01/10/2012 16:33:22 CEST +0200
