Title bar changes when window minimised

I have used Putty for many years, and only recently found Kitty. I have a command on the remote host to set the title in the title bar, to the userid + host, as i work with many userids. This works fine in putty, but in Kitty, whenever i minimise the window, the title is reset to "$(hostname) - KiTTY".
Is there a way to stop it doing this? Is this a bug?

I'v noticed this as well.
The title reverts to whatever is entered in Window --> Behaviour --> Window title.
It seems to be a bug in KiTTY. The feature works correctly in puTTY 0.60.
