Login script not executed upon reconnection

TerDale - Wed 17/10/2012 12:18:56 CEST +0200

Hi,

The "Login script" that one can specify in the "Connection-Data" settings is really helpful. It works great for a brand new session, OTOH it is fully ignored when session was disconnected by the server and the "Restart Session" PuTTY option is selected. In such a case, KiTTY properly sends the password, but the login script is not executed. Would be nice if it could be done in a near-future version.

What do you think? TIA

BTW, I actually faced the issue upon automatic reconnection, not while using "restart session" as mentioned, but I guess this could be handled by the same part of the code.

Anyone there?

Hi,

Unfortunately this issue is still present in the latest (0.62.1.4) version.

Do you think that this could be fixed easily? TIA

You can recall the autocommand with Shift+F12

Yes, this is for the login command, but anyway the command is properly re-sent after reconnection (fixed in a previous version).
The current issue is about the specified login script, so I know that I can use Ctrl-F2, but this would be far more comfortable and consistent with the login command if the specified login script would be also re-sent upon reconnection.

Thanks.
