Automatic Import / Non-Registry Settings
gozzgug - Fri 19/10/2012 15:01:05 CEST +0200
It would be nice if the first time you ran kitty it would ask you to import and putty registry settings it found. The 2nd option that would be nice is to store all of the kitty settings in a configuration file and not in the registry. This would truely make kitty portable. it would also allow for centralized config file management if we have users run putty from a single location on the network. The kitty administrator could add/change/modify settings for all users.

1) it is currently like that. At first run, the Putty registry is copied into kitty registry.
2) it the file save mode: [KiTTY] savemode=file But beware. It very long to start if you have many sessions. And it is not maintain anymore. Answer |
