IPv6

IanF - Wed 16/01/2013 13:17:56 CET +0100

Just discovered KiTTY and am loving the new lease of life you've given PuTTY.

I've noticed a problem when using the drag-and-drop pscp/kscp integration when connected to an IPv6 system.

IPv6 Addresses need to have square brackets around them when scp-ing files, eg;
pscp file_to_copy root@[aaaa:bbbb:cccc::1111]:/destination_folder

Without them the pscp command can't differentiate between the colons in the address and the one used to separate the address from the path.

Could you add IPv6 support for this please?

Another problem with IPv6: logs
Using &H to automatically store logs makes ipv6 hosts without logs because ":" are not supported in filename.
Could you find a solution (like replacing : by . or - ) ?

Can you test this beta build http://www.9bis.net/kitty/data/beta/kitty.exe ?

Thanks for the beta, it's fixed my issue perfectly :)
