fyi Kitty.ini gets corrupted.

mark vos - Thu 17/01/2013 18:20:06 CET +0100

It appears that once in a great while when using kitty it will corrupt the kitty.ini file. It looks like it modifies the kitty.ini back to the default ini file. Unable to duplicate it but it has happened about 5 times. 3 of us use kitty and it has happened to each of us. We just copy a good kitty.ini file over the bad one. We are using kitty 0.62.1.3. We use our own defined shortcuts in kitty.ini. PS: Good job on developing this program. It very good.

Here is what the bad kitty.ini file looks like:
[ConfigBox]
height=15
windowheight=800

It's a portable mode issue.
I don't have fix currently.
I suggest you to use registry mode if you can't deal with this issue.

Thanks for the prompt response cyd.
Our workaround is to remove modify rights to the kitty.ini file for the user.
thanks again.

I've found something.
Please try this beta build: http://www.9bis.net/kitty/data/beta/kitty.exe
