Automated change of KiTTY settings

Dale - Fri 08/02/2013 13:47:42 CET +0100

I would like to change the scrollback in the window setting to 50,000. I can do this easily manually, however I have about 50 server profiles saved and I wondered if there was a command line tool that allowed me to change the KiTTY/PuTTY settings.

I understand that KiTTY writes these settings into the registry, is that correct ?

KiTTY can save the configuration in the registry or in a config file.
If you want to use the registry, export the configuration, change and save the setting, export again and look at the difference between the two export files.

Does KiTTY write to the registry by default ?

Under which key in teh registry does KiTTY write it's settings ?

How do I change KiTTY to save it's settings to a textfile ?

KiTTY uses the registry by default.

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\9bis.com\KiTTY

The config file is mentioned at: http://www.9bis.net/kitty/?page=Portability&zone=en
