Crash on exit
Neil Simmons - Thu 28/03/2013 10:51:54 CET +0100
Hi,
I just switched from putty to kitty so if I'm being a dumbass here please just say so. I'm finding kitty very good but I just have one irritating issue. I'm in the habit of pressing Ctrl-D or typing 'exit' to exit from my ssh sessions and when I do this with kitty rather than closing the window it crashes. Ultimately this has the same effect so it's not a major issue but I just wondered if I was doing something stupid. I'm running kitty from the launcher if that makes any difference. If I press Alt-F4 then it comes up to ask me if I want to terminate the session and the closes normally depending on my selection. Windows logs the error as Faulting application name: kitty.exe, version: 0.62.0.0, time stamp: 0x5151d24a Faulting module name: nvinit.dll_unloaded, version: 0.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x512dd248 Exception code: 0xc0000005 Fault offset: 0x7515ce69 Faulting process id: 0x4600 Faulting application start time: 0x01ce2b94371eed26 Faulting application path: D:\Software\Kitty\kitty.exe Faulting module path: nvinit.dll Report Id: 1ec69a6c-978c-11e2-a934-00059a3c7a00 Any ideas anyone? Turns out that I was right the first time and my issue is already documented with a solution here http://www.9bis.net/kitty/?action=forum&id=0320
Please ignore this one, sorry. Answer |
