Taskbar/caption indication on bell - not working

I'm noticing an issue with the setting "Taskbar/caption indication on bell" = Flashing. It doesn't seem to work for me in KiTTY, though it does in PuTTY. For example, if I set that option, run the following script, and minimize the window:

sleep 5; echo -en "\007"

In PuTTY, my taskbar icon starts to blink in 5 seconds, but in KiTTY, nothing happens. Should this work in KiTTY too?

I see this as well with the latest version, 0.63.0.6. Rather annoying if you have multiple terminals open and don't spend every minute of your life staring at them.
