Telnet issues with 0.63.0.3

Hi Cyd,

when I telnet to a host with the latest version of kitty it shows the password prompt of the host for about 3 seconds then the kitty window closes.

using kitty versions 0.62.x.x does not cause the problem.

are you able to duplicate the issue?

Don't forget telnet is a terminal protocol only. Authentication is not part of this protocol (prefer ssh). For automation with telnet the best way is to use logon script.

I know... but im not looking for automation with telnet, I have a few old devices that only uses telnet... so I have to revert back to 0.62.x.x just to connect to telnet devices?

Yes but the only real way to connect to old devices is to use logon script. You should never have used anything else.

So you saying I must not use telnet functionality in Kitty? It works with Putty... :)

Telnet works fine. I use it everyday.
