ECDSA support in KiTTY

Raoul Bhatia - Mon 20/01/2014 13:51:02 CET +0100

Hi!

Are there any plans to add ECDSA support to KiTTY?

Cheers,
Raoul

I would appreciate this too! The default sshd config for Arch linux only supports ecdsa-sha2-nistp256 and ssh-ed25519, neither of which KiTTY supports. What I get with logging on is:
Event Log: Couldn't agree a host key algorithm (available: ecdsa-sha2-nistp256,ssh-ed25519)
Event Log: KiTTY Fatal Error: Couldn't agree a host key algorithm (available: ecdsa-sha2-nistp256,ssh-ed25519)

Lot of people would appreciate that, sadly it wont be implemented in Kitty as long as it wont be supported by Putty Stable :(

ECC keys already works with kitty. I am using gpg-agent instead of pageant.
