Some characters seem to break hyperlinks

omar - Fri 10/10/2014 04:35:20 CEST +0200

I mainly use KiTTY for IRC, so I click a lot of links. I have a setting in my IRC client (Weechat) that inserts a line after the last read line when I switch between buffers. I have that line set to use the character '─'. However, any links below the line are unclickable. If I get rid of the line, for instance by moving it down, by switching buffers and switching back, the links above the new line are now clickable, but any new links below the line break. I've also seen some other weird characters posted that seemed to break all links after them, so I'm pretty sure it's an issue with some characters not being compatible with the algorithm that's parsing for links.
