Kitty 0.63.1.4 not working with Open

p - Thu 23/10/2014 23:02:14 CEST +0200

I have just upgraded to the new kitty, If i select a session, click LOAD then Start it works ok.
If however I double click on the session name or Select LOAD then OPEN the program terminates.
The Previous version allowed double click of a session name as well as clicking on OPEN after loading.
Was there some setting that i need to change?

Unable to reproduce your issue.
Maybe something strange with your installation.
I need more informations. Can you contact me by e-mail and send me a memory dump ?

Please forgive my stupidity, how do you want me to do a memory dump?

Join me by e-mail (menu Contact above).
I'll explain the procedure.

Seeing exactly the same problem, with both 0.63.1.4 and 0.63.1.5.
This is on a fully patched and current Windows 7 install.

This did not happen with earlier versions of KiTTy.

If I open KiTTY and doubleclick a profile name, the program terminates (with error data that I have pasted below).
If I open KiTTY and singleclick a profile name and then click Open the program terminates as above.
If I open KiTTY and singleclick a profile name and then click Load and then click Open, the program terminates as above.
If I open KiTTY and singleclick a profile name and then Start, the session launches normally.

Error data (copied from the dialog box displayed by Windows when the program crashes):

Hi
I've got this issue too.
I've solved it by removing hyperlink support into kitty.ini configuration file.

phedlund - Wed 05/11/2014 16:43:11 CET +0100

That worked for me

phedlund - Thu 06/11/2014 17:52:53 CET +0100

Maybe this information should be added to the FAQ?

Richard Reiner - Sun 09/11/2014 22:15:16 CET +0100

OK, setting hyperlink=no in kitty.ini fixed it for me too.
But the hyperlink feature was kind of useful...
