Feature request: searching and keyword highlight

Hi.
It would be veeeeeery usefull feature to be able to open non-modal window, enter some text and have it highlithed in the main window, with back and forth buttons, ignore case switch, regex support.
I'm not talking about ssh'ing to linux, but about realtime debugging in Cisco for excapmle or other device, where there is no "less"-like tools available.
