Default 'Terminal-type string' to 'putty' instead 'xterm'

Daniel Sokolowski - Mon 19/01/2015 02:48:42 CET +0100

I believe Kitty should change it's default setting for 'Terminal-type string' to 'putty' as it resolves the odd line drawing as 'lqqk' characters - at least on Debian based systems.

This line drawing issue is so obscure and there are many seeking answers - please Google 'putty line drawing lqqk'.

This is caused by Putty not honoring the switch when 'UTF-8' is being used; I am paraphrasing more info here on the correct answer: http://serverfault.com/questions/91760/what-is-the-best-term-type-on-aix-for-use-with-putty-and-which-putty-settings-s and http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/putty/wishlist/utf8-plus-vt100.html
