convert the command line in to a script file
Jeff - Thu 22/01/2015 01:35:19 CET +0100
I'm using the following commands in the command line but the passwords are visible.
I assume I could convert this to a login script? But I don't know what it's supposed to look like. How would I make the following commands in to a login script file which becomes encrypted when you import? password\n enable\password\n copy running-config tftp://172.16.1.20/dell-svr-backup-mi \n exit pk7b4 - Sat 24/01/2015 11:09:01 CET +0100
Jeff,
try to save the session first on KiTTY with the autologin username and password correctly. Then you can just "call" the session from cli, like this kitty_portable.exe -load "session_name" I'm using it without any problem, Regards pk PS. I'm using latest build of KiTTY (0.63.2.2) and I prefer the portable version ... Jeff - Wed 04/02/2015 18:24:19 CET +0100
Thanks. That's how i have it set up on all my other devices but that doesn't work on these Dell switches. When I do that, the password prompt never gets populated. I'm not sure why. But when i pass the password through in the command... it works. Is it possible to move the commands under the "command" field in to a login script so that the passwords are not shown?

Oh... also, i need to enter the "enable" password as well so either way, I'm looking to move the commands under the "command" field in to a login script so the enable password is not viewable. I just don't know what the syntax of the logon script is supposed to be?
