Kitty and Kageant
Ingo - Wed 18/03/2015 09:53:45 CET +0100
Hi!
I'm trying to setup kitty with kageant. While it seems to work fine, if the private key is already added in the "kageant key list". It unfortunately I always have to enter my key passphrase in kitty terminal windows, if the kageant key list is empty (e.g. after kageant startup). Usually it should open a popup from kageant to enter my passphrase and the key should be added to the key list. Am I missing something? Thanks! Ingo - Wed 18/03/2015 09:59:37 CET +0100
Oh, seems like even putty+pageant itself cannot do this.
Seems like I have seen the described behaviour somwhere else (GitExtension I guess). But thanks! Cyd - Wed 18/03/2015 11:23:14 CET +0100
This feature works fine.
Do you check the "Attempt authentication using Pageant" option first ? hs2 - Thu 19/03/2015 06:15:22 CET +0100
@Ingo: Also note that 'kitty -launcher' is a good alternative to kageant (once sessions are configured properly). For me it's more convenient.
