klink.exe and savemode=dir

I've applied the kitty.ini savemode=dir setting and kitty.exe works, but unfortunately it looks like klink.exe only talks to the registry. I'd like to be able to run:

klink -load my-sess-name "uname -a"

But it doesn't pick up the my-sess-name that shows up in kitty. Nor does it recognize the saved ssh host key when I do specify the full username and host on the command line. It asks if I want to save it to the registry rather than picking it up from the Kitty data folder.
