putty portable

Hi all. Can I please request some help with the following scenario.

I have x users using ssh for network connectivity to approx 100 devices.
They need to use an ssh client that is stand alone and doesn't require an install. (putty_portable?)
They want to share a single database of session connections. (executable runs from shared folder)
They want separate session configurations like font/size, colour etc per user. (??? this is the bit i'm struggling with ???)

I can't see a way to achieve this easily. They can share a session database but that means they share session configurations too. Please correct me if i'm wrong.

1 solution I was looking at was to configure putty_portable to use the registry for it's session database and generate a master catalogue of sessions. Users could then export the registry, edit a single file to make the configuration changes and import it. It's not a centralised database but it's a compromise. I'm open to other suggestions. Editing 100+ configuration files in directory mode isn't realistic.

Is this possible with kitty_portable? I've managed to convert the pre-configured session directories to the registry using kitty_portable.exe -convert-reg but I can't get kitty_portable instance to reference the registry. I've edited the kitty.ini and amended the savemode to registry but that doesn't seem to work. Is this a kitty_standard option only?

Has anyone else out there managed to achieve what I'm trying ?

Thanks.

Please substitute any mention of putty for kitty in the above post.

Apologies - force of habit.

Portable version can only be used in portable mode.
Get the classic version to deal with the "savemode" option, to switch between portable or registry mode.
