Selecting a folder causes KiTTY to crash (0.64.0.4)
codeman38 - Fri 14/08/2015 19:24:43 CEST +0200
When running KiTTY with configuration loaded from the registry, selecting a folder from the dropdown list-- either when saving or selecting a session-- causes the application to crash.
Interestingly, I cannot reproduce this when launching KiTTY from WinDbg, but I can reproduce it if I launch the app outside of the debugger and then attach it after initialization. Here's the trace from the debugger, if this is of any help: (2f24.3a24): Access violation - code c0000005 (!!! second chance !!!) eax=00000154 ebx=00cb0000 ecx=00000000 edx=000100c4 esi=00100000 edi=00cb3258 eip=775b34a4 esp=0028e860 ebp=0028e930 iopl=0 nv up ei pl nz na pe nc cs=0023 ss=002b ds=002b es=002b fs=0053 gs=002b efl=00010206 ntdll!RtlInterlockedFlushSList+0xd0f: 775b34a4 8b40f8 mov eax, dword ptr [eax-8] ds:002b:0000014c=???????? I had this exact same problem. Even clicking the dropdown arrow and choosing the same folder I was already in would cause KiTTY to crash. Whether I started KiTTY without any parameters, or used the -folder parameter to start in a folder, the only way I could switch folders was to click the "Clear" button and get a list of everything. Then a couple of days ago, I started KiTTY inside one of my folders, and clicked the "Up folder" button, and ever since then, KiTTY hasn't crashed, and I can move all around my folders again!

I just downloaded version 0.65.0.1, and unfortunately, the problem is back. Clicking the "Up folder" button now doesn't do anything, except highlight the first server entry of the current folder that is being displayed.

Can you test this beta version: http://www.9bis.net/kitty/data/beta/kitty.exe ?
and report me, please ? Barcoboy - Tue 01/09/2015 16:32:18 CEST +0200
Seems to be fixed. Thanks Cyd!
One question I have though is what is the "Up folder" button supposed to do? Right now, all it seems to do for me is highlight the top entry in the current folder I am in. Cyd - Tue 01/09/2015 19:52:06 CEST +0200
Up folder button is used to rearrange folders list order.
