No NL sent for CR on serial port

Hi!
I am using Kitty to communicate to a small microcontroller. The command interpreter on the microcontroller removes all CR, and treats a LF as "End of line" character, activating the parser. Putty normally seems to send only CR on me pressing the Return key. I tried activating the Terminal->"Implicit LF in all CR" radio button. However, Kitty seems never to send any LF, so the radio button seem to not work at all.

I can emulate LF by pressing Ctrl+J on the keyboard, so the LF does not seem to disappear en rout to the microcontroller.

Any chance of a correction?
