Automatic Reconnect
IanF - Fri 02/10/2015 13:44:27 CEST +0200
I recently updated to the latest version but there seems to be a new feature that I'd like to disable if possible.
I occasionally have servers that aren't reachable but will be again in the near future. The latest release seems to continually attempt to reconnect once it loses connection. I'd like to leave the windows open and reconnect when I'm ready, rather than have to click OK on the "failed to connect" popup every few seconds. Is this possible? I had a similar problem. Recently updated to kitty 0.65.0.2 @ 31/08/2015, and the automatic reconnection behavior has been broken again. This time, it changes the icon of the window to have a red X, but doesn't reconnect until a key is pressed. This is quite annoying, as I tunnel my IRC connection over SSH, which had been working with the previous revision of kitty I was using. I've also had kitty crash twice in two days, which is brand new to me -- I've never seen kitty or putty crash before.

A new beta build is available: http://www.9bis.net/kitty/data/beta/kitty.exe
Can someone check please ? geki007 - Tue 27/10/2015 08:09:29 CET +0100
