Thanks for the program!
I've been using Kitty for connecting to IRC over SSH, and it's otherwise been really great but it has problems with URLs. Most URLs it does detect but some go past it and I can't find any pattern to which it skips but I think it has something do with foreign letters. Here's a screenshot, all this was in a single view: http://i.imgur.com/i6t4xd2.png I noticed that if I change the size of the screen to crop out some of the Japanese characters above, it makes the URLs work. This amount seems to work: http://i.imgur.com/3gRLBgi.png But this one line is too much: http://i.imgur.com/4wJkoz5.png Here are the suspected lines copypasted (I hope they don't break). 14:14:43 < minako> [Posted Sun Mar 27 11:07:32 +0000 2016 by ななまるナンダー] 文豪1話、林宏一、富岡隆司確認 14:14:43 < minako> クレジット位置的にバンク? #bungosd It doesn't matter what kind of regex I'm using for hyperlinks, all of them fail with Kitty. I did try with PuttyTray and it didn't have problems with the same situation. Berzerker - Mon 28/03/2016 01:53:27 CEST +0200
I'm confirming the issue exists, as well.
If I type japanese characters, links that get posted beneath it are not clickable until they are scrolled into backlog. As you mentioned, resizing the window to hide the characters also fixes this issue. The issue definitely seems to be with foreign/unicode/japanese characters. To further this, it actually occurs with a lot of different unicode characters, and anything underneath the line the character appears on causes the issue.
For example, if there's a split window in tmux, the separator character "─┤" in the middle of the splits will cause the issue as well. Puttytray doesn't have this issue, from what I've seen. khalme - Wed 06/04/2016 23:24:53 CEST +0200
I can confirm this too. I was wondering why the URLs on the second TMUX split part did not get matched. I also tried to use custom regex patterns for URL matching, sometimes even crashing KiTTY with a bad regex. Anyway, this report seems to catch the issue pretty well. If it makes any difference, I am using Ubuntu Server 14.04.4 LTS with byobu 5.74 and tmux 1.8 on the server side, and Windows 10 as the client machine running KiTTY 0.67.0.2.

Bumping this, can we get an update from the dev?

...also the character "Р" can't be in url, and that applies to puttytray as well (e.g. http://server.com/КЛОМНОПРСТУ). even [ ] doesn't match Р

The issue is fixed in next beta build:
http://www.9bis.net/kitty/data/beta/kitty.exe Can you check and report ? Berzerker - Fri 17/06/2016 07:31:26 CEST +0200
Thanks Cyd.
Tested and working so far. Yaakov Tooth - Sun 21/08/2016 08:13:34 CEST +0200
May be add a file uri? This would greatly facilitate my job.
Example: file://d:/documents/example/file.cpp Leo - Mon 22/08/2016 09:59:10 CEST +0200
You can edit the regex in Window/Hyperlinks configuration panel.
