ini file changes aren't effecting anything

I made a kitty.ini under AppData\roaming\KiTTY , but it effects nothing. It worked last night, so i remade the file, but still nothing. I think it might have been because I was also setting up the portable version as well, but i'm not sure. Is there a way to clear everything and start from the beginning?

Portable version means no link with the machine. So that kitty.ini file can't be anywhere else than ... the same directory where kitty.exe is. So move your kitty.ini file from %APPDATA%\KiTTY directory to you KiTTY running directory.
