Kitty Command prompt

I have the following in the command prompt: help log \n \s30 exit

My goal is to issue the command "help log", wait 30 seconds, then issue the next command "exit"

What happens is: the session starts, a 30 second delay, "help log", a new line, "exit" runs immediately.

Any suggestions?
