DEC MCS but no National Replacement Characterset

Hi!
I'm using Kitty with DEC-MCS translation.
Nearly everything is fine but the National mutated vowels like ä ü and so on are not displayed right.
Instead of these I see brackets.
Is there any possibility to set the right NRC in Kitty?
Or is there a script that replace these characters?
