Session Logging Suggestion

Would it be at all possible to prevent logging certain lines containing custom phrases? For instance, I'd like to prevent any line containing "password", "secret", "md5", or "community". The purpose is to prevent any known password fields from being present in the logs. I know there is a checkbox that says "Omit known password fields", but I've never seen it work.
