Kitty constantly saving default settings file

Hi

I am using the portable version of Kitty and syncing the folder across multiple computers with Dropbox. Kitty seems to save Default Settings file every time I open the new session window. It's causing me problems, as Dropbox sync is now creating conflicted copies of the Default Settings file if I have Kitty open on more than one computer at the same time.

Why is Kitty saving Default Settings even though I haven't actually changed anything? Could this be changed?

Try to add
default=no to the configuration file.

You must add these lines to your kitty.ini configuration file:
[ConfigBox]
defaultsettings=no
