Kitty Scripting Wildcards

Darrell Porter - Tue 03/04/2018 22:37:09 CEST +0200

I am attempting to write scripts for use with Kitty.

We have hundreds of HP Procurve and Aruba switches. I want to be able to use the following constructs:

eg:

Login as:
Username
Username@*'s password:
SuMC0mpl3xP@55\/\/0rD
Press any key to continue
  • #
Some switch command

  • #
Some other switch command

The hostname will change for each switch. Is there a way to either use wildcards, such as the above example shows with the asterisks, or does a different script need to be built for each switch?

How do I process the output of a switch command in situ? My preference is to use Powershell.

We connect to our switches via SSH only.

Thanks
