Migrated from putty, many Connection options missing
era - Thu 16/06/2011 12:37:19 CEST +0200
I just set up Kitty and am very pleased with it already. Actually, one of the reasons I wanted to switch was the auto-login script functionality. However, the configuration dialog box I get in Change Settings ... doesn't look like the one in the documentation . Most of the Kitty options are there in other parts of the dialog (for example, the Sessions tab has the Folder drop-down), but in Connection, I only see SSH (with a plus, indicating multiple hidden sub-panes) and Zmodem. The option tabs "Data" (this is the one I need!), "Proxy", "Telnet", and "Rlogin" ought to be there according to the screen shot in the documentation.
Did I download the wrong version? Or do I need to do something more in order to migrate my existing sessions to Kitty? I was pleased to see that they were imported from Putty when I first started Kitty. Cyd - Fri 17/06/2011 12:21:52 CEST +0200
To know if you got the current release just go to About dialog and press Upgrade.
Send me screen copy, I don't understand your issue ! era - Mon 20/06/2011 09:43:55 CEST +0200
The Upgrade button says I have the latest release.
How do I attach a screen shot here? http://img571.imageshack.us/img571/1592/kittycfg.png Compare to the screen shot in the documentation: http://www.9bis.net/kitty/?page=Logon%20script&zone=en era - Mon 20/06/2011 09:48:32 CEST +0200
Looks like http://www.9bis.net/kitty/?page=Logon+script might work better, this forum software seems to wreck URLs.
